London City Airport, Jewel on the Thames

London City Airport is the UK's leading business airport with ten airlines serving over 30 destinations across the UK and Europe with connections to the rest of the world through major European hubs. Less than 20 minutes by rail or car from the heart of downtown London.

This jewel of an airport with a single runway jutting out into a channel that once was surrounded by crumbling warehouses and vacant docks. London City Airport may have sprung from humble origins, but today it shines when it comes to providing point-to-point service to some of Europe's most important business capitals such as Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfurt and New York.

Check with EuropebyAir for services in and out of (LCY) London City and our airport map that makes getting to and from London's airports much easier.

Fight the Flights - Not Anti Aviation - But Anti Expansion. said...

To 1 point I can understand your blog. To certain users London city Airport is handy to fly from. The key issue is that this once small niche airport is wanting to outgrow itself and will become the same as all other airports in London. It's got expansion from 70,000 to 120,000 flights per year and has brought larger, nosier, more polluting jets to whats already an over polluted area.
It's not the Jewel you try claim it to be.
